SHEILA HARTLEY

Sheila Hartley is currently A. H. Belo Corporation's vice president/Human Resources. Previously she served as regional director/Human Resources at Belo Corp. from June 2004 to November 2007 where she supported corporate and Texas and Arizona television station employees. She began her career with Belo as Corporate Human Resources Manager in June 2003.

Prior to joining Belo, Hartley was vice president/Human Resources at American General/AIG from 1985 until 2001. Hartley's accomplishments include supporting the company's merger and acquisition strategies, implementing cultural change initiatives and designing compensation programs to meet changing market conditions.

Hartley graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from Stephen F. Austin State University. She received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas. She also holds a Senior Professional Human Resources designation from HRCI.
